Fishing in the Meadville Area

Good afternoon! For our first posting I am going go talk about fishing spots in Pennsylvania from my personal experience. I am from Meadville Pa and I have fished almost every body of water in a 30 minute radius. My friends and I's top spots include Conneaut Lake, Tamarack, pymatuning, and French Creek. I have been fishing in these locations for my whole life and caught many different species of fish. These range from bluegill to pike. The main fish that people catch is large mouthbass. In my personal opinion large mouthbass are the most entertaining to fish for. They are viewed as a trophy fish and most people catch and release them. You can catch large mouth all throughout the fishing season. Due to me being in college I have mainly only fished during the summer. In my experience the best summertime lures for bass are spinnerbaits, crankbaits, soft plastic worms, and soft plastic baits which consist of bugs and fish. #fishing #Pa #bass #softplastics #crankbaits
